The Stihl BR800 C-E
The BR800 is Stihl’s largest and most powerful of Stihls leaf blowers. Landscapers and other professionals will appreciate its features, with a powerful engine and enough fuel capacity to keep going without repeated pauses for refuelling. The BR800 has a blowing force of 41 N, a max airspeed of 291 kmph, and a two-litre tank volume. So you get great power with longevity that will suit almost any task. Stihl packed this power into a machine weighing 11.79kg. While significantly heavier on paper compared with a regular handheld leaf blower, the harness distributes the load on your skeletal structure rather than on your muscles, meaning in practical terms it will feel lighter and easier to carry than a traditional machine.
Good Vibrations
One of the chief problems with handling any power tool for long periods of time is that the vibrations can create symptoms such as tingling, pins and needles and numbness which can become a serious issue for anyone working on a daily basis. The BR800 has a spring-loaded suspension system between the backpack harness and the engine. This absorbs the bulk of vibrations between you and the engine, greatly reducing the fatigue that can come with power tools so you can keep going.

As with many of Stihls power tools, the BR800 C-E backpack leaf blower has an easy start system to help reduce fatigue. It also has a quick side starter. In traditional backpack setups the need to remove the backpack to get the machine back up and running. However, with the BR800 you can easily turn it off without having to remove the backpack. This is a great help when you’re working with clients and need to stop to communicate. Just switch off the engine for a moment and then without any effort and without removing the backpack, you can use the side-start cord to get things up and running again.
