Taking a Dip in the Maldives
The Lay-Z-Spa Maldives gives you everything you’d hope for in a hot tub. There are no compromises. You get 180 airjets (that give you those soothing bubbles), and you also get 8 jetstreams (these are high powered thrusters that deeply massage your muscles). With an inner space of 1.5 metres by 1.5 metres, it has enough room to comfortably seat five to seven people. Included with the Maldives are inflatable lounge seats so that you can sit or lie inside with maximum comfort. Also included in the Maldives is an integrated water treatment system. Using electromagnetic coils, it conditions the water, softening it to prevent skin irritation. With all Lay-Z-Spas, you get a digitally controlled and integrated heater and pump system. This heats your water up to 40c. When you first get the Maldives, it may take you a few hours to get it up to temperature as it will heat the spa at a rate of 1-2c per hour.
Is it Robust Enough?
People sometimes worry that inflatable hot tubs will underperform compared with a fixed installation. With the Lay Z Spa heating system, it can stay warm when you use it. And with energy conservation systems and freeze protection, you can safely leave it outdoors when it’s not in use without risking damage to the plumbing and without risking excessive energy bills. It comes with a 12-month standard warranty for the pumping and heating system, and a six-month warranty for the liner. You can extend this to 24 months and 12 months respectively.
